Zoom Lance: Replace Bayonet Lock Ring
Learn how to easily replace your Bayonet Lock Ring (a) on your AVA Lance with this step-by-step guide. All you need are your AVA Lance and a new Bayonet Lock Ring (95-100-749). Safety first! To prevent any accidents, ensure that your Lance is disconnected from your pressure washer.
1. Screw Lock Ring out of threads
Screw the lock ring counterclockwise until it becomes loose from the internal threads.
2. Pull off the Lock Ring
Pull it straight off the lance (in the axial direction).
3. Press Lock Ring onto Lance
Press a new Lock Ring onto the lance until it stops in the threads.
4. Screw the Lock Ring clockwise onto the threads
The lance is now ready for use.
