This privacy statement states how AVA of Norway AS (org. No. 815 105 222) collects and uses personal information and data.

At AVA of Norway, we care about our customers, and how we process your personal information. In this statement, we, therefore, explain why we collect information about our customers, how we use this information, and measures that are taken to ensure your privacy.

Personal information is information and assessments that can be linked to an identifiable individual. This can be name, phone number, address, e-mail, goods, or contact information.

1. Collection of personal information

Contact information collected through forms on our websites is stored in Typeform, Zendesk, and Rambase, our CRM systems. It is voluntary to provide this information. If you choose not to provide personal information, we may be prevented from giving you access to our services or assistance. Our data about AVA of Norway AS's customers (contact information) is also stored in this CRM system, but we do not receive any information without active consent.

What do we use cookies for:

Google Tag Manager

Google Tag Manager handles tracking codes and refers to tracking layouts and tracking for third-party solutions such as Universal Analytics (Google Analytics), and is used for website optimization, and marketing services. All tracking codes are run and managed via Google Tag Manager.

Google Analytics

This analysis tool is used to study traffic, usage patterns, and trends on our websites. The data collected is used to optimize the user experience and customize the content of the website. Google's policies for the use of Google Analytics do not collect personal information about you as a user. The data collected is stored on Google's servers. We store data such as movements on the website and certain actions (if you submit a form). All information is subject to Google's Privacy Policy.

Facebook Pixel

Facebook Pixel is used to control and measure the effectiveness of advertising on social media. By tracking the actions, the user performs on the site, we can improve advertising campaigns, create smart audiences, and drive remarketing. Facebook Pixel is also used for Instagram, Messenger, and the use of Facebook pixels therefore also covers these channels. These media analysis tools give us access to statistics where we get to know which pages have been visited as a result of an advertising campaign, and which actions have been performed (order/contact form). This information is anonymized.

4. Personal information stored

We store the following personal information about our customers: Name, Address, Telephone number, E-mail address. We also store purchase history and behavior patterns on our website, i.e. information on how the individual user navigates the site.

5. Purpose of the treatment

We process the information in order to be able to carry out our obligations by agreement with you.

6. The basis for the treatment

Information such as name, address, telephone, e-mail address, or goods purchased is used to fulfill the purchase agreement. The basis for this treatment is Article 6 (b) of the Privacy Ordinance. Where you have consented, the information will also be used to provide you with information, offers, and service in connection with your purchase via e-mail, telephone, and SMS. The basis for this treatment is the Privacy Ordinance Art 6 (a). You can at any time refuse to receive such information from us.

7. Disclosure of information to third parties

We will not share, sell, transfer or otherwise disclose personal information to others unless we are legally obliged to do so. In order to be able to fulfill our obligations under the agreement, the necessary information is provided to our partners. Necessary information is only shared with companies if this is necessary.

AVA of Norway uses services provided by 3rd parties for various services. Here is an overview of subcontractors where information can be stored:

Zendesk:

Zendesk is our system for handling email and chat correspondence. All incoming and outgoing emails, as well as chat dialogs, are stored at Zendesk.

Mailchimp:

Mailchimp is used for email marketing or sending out newsletters. Name and email can be shared with Mailchimp.

Google Analytics:

Google Analytics is used for traffic analysis. IP addresses are not stored, but visitor patterns are stored so that we can see which parts of the website receive traffic.

Typeform:

Typeform is used to create questionnaires for customers and dealers so that we receive and review necessary information. The information shared here is treated confidentially.

8. Deletion of personal data

When you shop through AVA of Norway, we need information such as the product, customer name, address, and e-mail. This is necessary to be able to send your order to the correct delivery address, and contact you if needed. We are required to store the information in connection with accounting, fee handling, and warranty/return handling. This history will not be deleted. For security reasons, we also store the IP address used to register the order.

If you register a warranty on your product or contact customer service via www.avaofnorway.com, https://avaofnorway.store/, https://avastore.co.uk/ or any other platform provided by AVA of Norway to collect information regarding your purchase or related information, the conversation and information provided will be stored in our CRM systems so that we can provide efficient and thorough support if you were to contact us on a later occasion.

9. Rights of the registered

We process your data in accordance with the Personal Data Act and current regulations. Please note that you can demand access to, and transferring of your own information, as well as demand correction or deletion of information. You can contact The Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet) if you have a complaint.
