Pressure Gun PG4 (PG1): Replace Internal Pipe

Gun internal pipe for AVA gun PG4 and PG1 (AC01) SKU: 980-101-01

Safety first! To prevent any accidents, ensure that your pressure gun is disconnected from your pressure washer. Learn how to easily replace an Internal Pipe on your PG4/PG1 pressure gun with this step-by-step guide. All you need are a Phillips screwdriver and a new Internal Pipe (980-101-01). ! New O-rings can be found in the First Aid Kit SKU: 11-120-503

1. Overview of components

a) Internal pipe 5


b) O-ring 5*1.5 NBR90


c) Brass valve


d) Hose release knob


e) Hose lock clip


f) Safety lock


g) Zero force locking tab


h) Rubber buffer


i) Gun cover left


j) Gun cover right

2. Remove top cover (right cover)

Lay the pressure gun with screw heads facing upwards.


a) Unscrew 8 screws (Phillips screwdriver).


b) Lift away the Right cover.

3. Pull out the Internal Pipe method 1

When handling only the internal pipe you can do as follows:


a) Place your right tomb on the Brass Valve and hold it downwards.


b) Gently, bend the pipe upwards and pull it out of the valve.


c) The hose release knob (green 'push button') can remain on the left cover.

4. Pull out the Internal Pipe method 2:

When handling both the internal pipe and the Brass Valve you must pull out the entire assembly:

5. Disassembly the Valve system

a) Aluminium injector


b) Trigger valve spring

6. Move the Hose lock clip to the new pipe

Check the O-ring for visual damage.

7. Insert a new Internal Pipe

a) Place your right tomb on the Brass Valve and hold it downwards.


b) Gently, stick the pipe end (O-ring part) into the Brass Valve and lift the valve upwards.


c) Push the pipe into the Brass Valve and press it down into its belonging groves.


d) Adjust the Hose release knob so it fits onto the pipe and the Hose lock clip.

8. Insert the new Internal Pipe simultaneous with the Brass Valve

When inserting both the pipe and the valve you can do as follows:

a) Assemble the Valve system


b) Place the components together into the left cover. Ensure that each shaft is placed in its respective groove.


c) Adjust the Hose release knob so it fits onto the pipe and the Hose lock clip.

9. Focus areas during assembly

When putting on the right cover you must consider that some components have shafts that should fit into hollows in the covers.

10. Assembly tip

Use your finger to gently press downward on the green trigger. This helps keep the components in place when placing the right cover on top of the left cover.

11. Install the Right Cover

a) Press the Right Cover onto the Left Cover. Consider the focus areas.


b) Fasten the right cover with 8 Phillips screws.
