A U-pin is included to secure the end piece in the inner tube.

If the U-pin is not secured, there is a risk that the end piece could damage something or someone when water and pressure are applied.

1. Press the end piece into the inner tube.
2. Place the U-pin in the corresponding slot and use a hammer or similar to gently tap the U-pin all the way into the slot.

!Always remember to start spraying in a safe direction when you start or have changed nozzles or accessories.

If the center tube has moved into the lance, you can do the following:

1. Place the end piece into the slot in the tube as shown in picture 1.
   
2. Then press the end piece fully into the tube and twist to the right.
   
3. Press the button and pull out the tube along with the end piece.
   
4. Install the U-Pin as shown in the chapter above.

Along with the Telescope Lance, a U-pin is included to secure the internal hose:

Place the U-pin in the corresponding slot and lightly tap it in with a hammer or similar.

When assembling the Evolution, a U-pin is included to secure the internal hose to the drum.
